We made it! It’s the end of 2020 and the start of a new year!! Its time to take stock of our lives. I have written the next few lines multiple times and then deleted. I can’t seem to mention COVID, the election or the economy without it sounding political and this is not about politics nor is it about the mundane of human existence. We are better than that. Yes, all those things swirl around us like little dust devils in a field or on the beach. They can’t hurt us, not really, but they sure do annoy.
My question is bigger than that. Do you care where you put your time and energy? Do you care how you spend your life force? Do you care about the love others have for you or you have for them? Do you care? Do you really care?
We all seem to put huge amounts of time and energy into where we live, what cars we drive, and what clothes we wear. We seem to be obsessed with protecting and building our standing in the community. But if 2020 has taught us nothing else, it has taught us how fragile and illusory those things are. We have lived through a year that can only be described as nonsensical.
So given our collective experience, what should you care about? Where should you focus your intention? That is an individual free choice for each of us. Should you build your existence in this illusory world on the shifting sands of the illusion or see this world for what it is and focus on absolute and unchanging truth?
That Truth is simple. There are those that attempt to make it complicated and layered with guilt, sin, and suffering, but that is not Truth. That is mankind attempting to control and punish. In this new year, this new beginning, rise above all that and focus your intention on finding the Truth of your existence.
It is the same for all of us, not one is more special than the other. We are all children of Source regardless of what name you place on the One. We are all, each and every one of us, without sin outside of this illusory existence. Source, Itself, is not complete without each one of us, including you. Do you understand the significance of that last one? The Creator of All That Is needs you before It is complete. No one is left behind.
Now we are doing yoga…
