Once again Spirit interrupted my morning yoga practice.  It was a heavy pressure, like a cast iron bowl had been placed over my head, and I had no choice but to stop my asana practice and become open to what Spirit had to say.  I am no more special than anyone else.  Perhaps more practiced in comprehending communication, but not special.  We all have the ability if we chose to develop it.

Spirit’s message: The chaos of the last 12 months is over.

Have you ever watched the flow of water just before and just after a waterfall?  The analogy of life flowing like a river of water is a good one and I was shown a large river with a waterfall.  The current becomes agitated before the actual waterfall as the water begins to be pulled over the edge.   It swirls around as the speed of the flow increases.  The chaos comes when the water breaks over the edge in freefall.  That is where we have all been for the last 12 months.

If you choose to accept it: The chaos is now over.

We have reached the pool at the bottom of the waterfall.  Yes, the currents still swirl around as the flow recovers from the fall, but the chaos of the fall is over.  We are now in a new phase of organization and calm waters are ahead.

It is now time to relax: The chaos is over.

This is not about politics or viruses or perceived enemies.  It is about the foundation of human existence, what is Truth and what is truly important.  The last 12 months has tested our beliefs, our habits and has given us the opportunity to reevaluate the order of our lives.  Now is the time to consider all the baggage that you carried over the edge of the waterfall.  Are you still holding on to it or did you release it on the way down?  If it didn’t help you on the ride down, do you really think it is worth holding on to now?

Let all that baggage sink to the bottom where it belongs.  It is of no value, it only weighs you down, needlessly complicating your life.

Now is the time for new beginnings.  Calm waters are in sight and you now know what is truly important, who and what was there for you in the waterfall.  Lighten your load and enjoy that which is before you.

Now we are doing yoga…
