The journey of a seeker can seem like a long one.  Very little, if any, progress is felt for weeks, months, or even years, and then one night you understand the tremendous progress you have made.  The path you have walked is clear.  However, if you look only at your ultimate goal, the journey will overwhelm you and seem impossible.  You may want to give up before you start.

Why not kick back and wait for that “next lifetime”.  Nothing wrong with that.  No one is left behind.  Take the path that is before you.  Live your life, after all, you created it!  If that’s what you want, then great!  You are where you need to be.

However, if you feel you want something different, if you feel “called” to know the Truth, if you want to go Home, then this journey is right for you.

Have you ever tried to run a 5K race?  The first time you think “I will never make it, it is simply too far”, you can’t even imagine the entire 3.2-mile course is within your capabilities at one time.  But if you only take that first step, and then another, and another, pretty soon the 5K will be behind you.  Take it one step at a time, always with the intention to finish, but only one step at a time.

That is all you need to do to complete this journey, our Source does the rest.  Make the commitment; resolve to have the intention to start the journey.  Then all you need is the intention to take the next step.  Taking that next step is all you need.  It will not be until later after you have reached your goal, that you will see and understand just how far each step took you.

As I write this, I have resolved only to write this article.  I can’t begin to understand how I could write 104 spiritual articles (this one is number 104!), much less ones that others would read.  All I can do is write this article and trust that it will take me where I intend to go.  This blog is part of my journey Home.  It is also part of your journey.

All seekers, you and me included, are quite literally “prodigal sons and daughters” coming Home.   Source is waiting for us with open arms.  All we need to do is turn around with the intention to take the journey.  Take the step that is before you and think about that second step tomorrow.  One step each day and soon we will be Home, surrounded by the Peace and Joy that is who we truly are, One with Creation.

We are all Holy Children of God; He is not complete without each one of us; remember this as you continue your journey Home.

Now we are doing yoga…
