What can you do now that you find yourself in this new land of the bizarre? How can you fix it? How can you make it familiar and normal? How can you soothe that feeling of being lost and lonely? Truth is, you can’t, not the way you always have in the past. There is nothing you can do other than to step away.
Just be. Or as Mother Mary said it, “Let it be”. It is much harder than it seems. To let it be is to experience all that surrounds you without the ego. View your experience through the eyes of your Higher Self; observe, take it all in, but do not allow the ego to engage. Don’t try to figure it out, just perch on that rock or tree branch and watch. Let it come to you without judgement or reaction and then watch it float on past.
If you allow your ego mind to engage, your perspective will change, you will start to see everything from the selfish perspective of the ego. Your ego’s best friend, fear, will join you on that perch. You will begin to judge your surroundings and all actions. You will see things as not quite right, in need of correction, even if ever so slightly. It may be with the best of intentions; you may want to “help” by making whatever it is conform to your view of correctness. “But it will be better this way” you might say – Let it be.
Everything you see in others, everything you see “out there”, is also a part of you. We are all connected and we all co-create in many different ways as we experience this world. To attempt to impart your single will, your way of thinking, your perspective on someone else is no less futile than a rose attempting to force a lily to grow thorns. Let it be.
Rejoice in the experience of observing through the eyes of Spirit. When you see something that you think may need help, stop and ask your True Self, your connection to universal awareness, what you should do. Be careful to truly ask and then listen. Really listen and allow the answer to come to you without judgment or prejudice. Then trust your answer and act accordingly. Give yourself to your Higher Self. Make no decisions on your own. Simply be a conduit of action for Spirit. Tell your ego to just be.
Your anxiety, your fear, your frustration will all leave you. Neither you nor your ego knows what is best in any given situation, especially now. Trust all things to your Higher Self. Let your connection to the Universe speak through you. Act only as you are lead, free from the selfish perspective of the ego. Just be who you truly are.
Just be. Be secure in the knowledge that you are perfect, without sin, eternal, and complete. You cannot be harmed in any way. Everything that you see around you, everything, ultimately moves you closer to Home. Everything serves to increase your awareness of your True Self, even now in this land of the bizarre. Peace, Joy and Love are who you are. Let go of everything that doesn’t support your True Self, an eternal being without the limitations of this world.
Just be.
